Google Reviews for Northwest Mobility
I purchased a new Honda Odyssey BraunAbility conversion van from NW mobility last year. Recently Honda sent out a recall notice related to the rear view camera wiring. I made an appointment with Honda service but after looking at the van they said they couldn’t do the recall service because the van had been modified, and they wouldn’t take off a panel related to the BraunAbility conversion. Honda suggested that the company that did the conversion could remove the panel then I could bring it back in for the recall. That would have been a challenge for me from a mobility perspective. It sounded ridiculous, and Michelle and Ford thought so as well and made several calls up the Honda chain of command to persuade them that they should take care of the recall. In the end Michelle told me to just bring my van to NW mobility and they wouldn’t give me a loaner and take my van in to Honda for the recall service. During the service they noticed a few unrelated minor issues with the equipment and took care of that as well, no charge. When I picked up my van it had been washed and cleaned and looked spiffy. This is an example of the excellent customer service I have received from NW mobility for several years now. Thanks Michelle and team at NW mobility! I highly recommend NW mobility for servicing your mobility needs.
2 weeks agoLast year my husband and I bought a new modified van. This turned out to be one of the best investments we made. I’m in an electric wheelchair. Now I have the freedom to go places and see things. I simply roll up into the van and click my chair next to the drivers seat. It’s been years since I could resume my position as side street driver and wingman. This van has really revolutionized my life for the better. The staff and service are amazing! I’m a dialysis patient, missing a treatment is not an option. We had just gotten the van and hadn’t figured out all the bells and whistles. We couldn’t get the ramp to descend automatically and panicked. Michelle, the owner, gave us her personal cellphone number to call if we had questions. She left her office in Salem and drove to Tillamook to bring us another. vehicle so I wouldn’t miss my treatment. It ended up being a minor problem. In our panic we forgot we could manually get the ramp down. How many businesses would provide that kind of service? In life we have many acquaintances, I consider Michelle, her husband Ford and their staff as friends. Their kindness and compassion has earned them that status. I would highly recommend them for any handicap transportation needs, from cars, wheelchairs, scooters etc. PS: they provide financing on the vans they sell, up to 30 years at rates comparable to our local credit union. 😊
a month agoWe went looking at a scooter for mobility. Michelle was very helpful and knowledgeable. She did a great job, and we purchased the scooter. She also demonstrated and allowed a test drive of a wheelchair van. When the time comes, we will return and buy it from Michelle. Really appreciate her friendly and helpful customer service, making the whole process easy.
6 months agoI went in yesterday to see about a seatbelt extender for my new wheelchair. I was too late to order one because I was leaving the next day. BUT…..they MADE one for me!!!!! Those guy are great! Michelle was the one who figured out what could be done and the guys did it in about 15 minutes. Superb people and so helpful!!! Linda
5 months agoI brought my wheelchair van here for a new lift install. I canceled the order. They installed the wrong size lift. It was too short for my wheelchair. I had to bring the van back to have the old lift reinstalled. During the process they threw away a part for the lift door to hold the door in place. They took that part off when it didn't need to be taken off the vehicle. Then they threw it away. Now I cannot find a replacement part. Enter at your own risk.
