Google Reviews for Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm
The Tulip farm was an amazing experience filled with vibrant colors and picturesque views. Walking through the rows of blooming tulips was like stepping into a painting. The farm was well-maintained and the flowers were in full bloom, creating a stunning display of nature's beauty. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, providing interesting insights about the different varieties of tulips. It was a peaceful and serene environment, perfect for a relaxing day out in nature. I would highly recommend visiting the Wooden Shoe Tulip farm at least once. 🌷
8 months agoThis is the first year that they've held a summer flowers fest including beautiful sunflowers, zinnias, and daisies. The price is cheaper than the tulip fest since the flowers don't cover the entire area but it's definitely a big area. They have a sunflower maze, tractor ride, tall scaffolding to take amazing pictures from, and many shady areas with benches and misters. A kiddie area with fun games is available and their wine/boutique shop is available. They also have a porta potty and wash station. Bring lots of water, a hat, sunscreen, camera and leashed pets!
7 months agoCan’t wait to go again next year! The tulips were beautiful when we went in early/mid April. Parking wasn’t too bad, they checked our tickets and then directed us to where we needed to go. It is dog friendly just make sure you clean up after them and don’t let them on the tulip beds. It can be busy so keep that in mind when considering if your pup would do well in that kind of environment:) They had some really cute and unique booths as well as a cute little gift shop. Cute place to take some pictures, just be sure to not damage the tulips in the process. They did have a few food options, but more snack/ fair food trucks.
7 months agoFirst time here and it’s opening weekend. Some fields are in bloom but is a great time to buy your bulbs.
a week agoThe Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival is a must see. The fields are beautiful and have lots of opportunities for photos. There is a gift shop, rides and food available for purchase. There are hot air balloons and antique tractors that are great for pictures. The feedback I would give on what could be improved is: 1.Please allow tickets to be purchased at the door and not mandate reservations. Also consider lowering the prices. At $20 per person, it limits the amount of families that can afford to come-especially locals. The prices are quite high considering other flower festivals have little to no charge. 2. Employees could be kinder when telling people to stay out of the flowers. One employee in particular was quite rude. It is better to inform people as why they shouldn't be doing something than yelling. 3. Lower the prices of potted tulips or bouquets. At $20 per bouquet with only a few tulips in them or the pots it wasn't worth buying which we had intended to do.
